Profile & Role

About the role

As an Executive Researcher at Amrop, you will work in a team-based setting together with one or two partners. In each search assignment, you will be responsible for the initial phase of the project, i.e. together with the client and partner define the role and competency profile required, map the candidate space and identify qualified candidates for the role. 

You will work with Amrop’s extensive candidate database, external sources such as LinkedIn, and proactively talk to sources in the market and potential candidates. The role offers great exposure to senior clients and candidates alike, and you will be expected to build your own network of experts and become an advisor to the partner group and clients.

You will be part of the Consumer & Retail team at Amrop and mainly focus on assignments within these industries. However, you will have the opportunity to work more broadly with other sector partners and researchers.

The role is based in Stockholm.

As an Executive Researcher at Amrop your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: 

  • With reference to the specific assignment define the role and competency profile required
  • Actively seek information in order to stay up to date with trends and movements in the Consumer & Retail industries
  • Writing assignment proposals, job specifications, defining search universes, and compiling long- and shortlists
  • Take active part in all client meetings and drive discussions around candidates and search universes
  • Initial candidate screening and referencing

Competencies & Qualifications

  • Relevant academic degree - BCs. Economics/ Business
  • Newly graduated or up to 3 years of work experience
  • Confident and decisive with an ability to build rapport with senior management
  • Fluent in both Swedish and English - Writing and speaking
